Lunch and Learns / Speaking Events

Build resiliency in the workplace. 

I have presented multiple Lunch and Learns, workshops, and talks on mental health. I make sure the information I’m sharing is relevant and applicable to your organization. Depending on your organization's policy, I also include a deep dive on your group benefits plan, mental health resources, and your paid-time off policy. 

I currently offer 3 staple talks. These can be done in sequence (three talks over three months) or if one talk is more applicable to you, we can focus on that. 

*these can also be customized if certain topics are more/less applicable

Talk 1 -- What is mental health? 

This talk covers the basics of what mental health is and how common mental health problems are. We discuss stigma, how stigma shows up in the workplace, and building resiliency.


Talk 2 -- The intersectionality of mental health

After a quick introduction on mental health 101, we review four major social and political identities and discuss the challenges each community faces in regards to their mental health. We discuss how to support our peers and other members of our communities.

Talk 3 -- Burnout 

This talk is primarily focused on burnout, with background information on mental health problems. We review symptoms of burnout, how it shows up in the workplace, and burnout prevention.


Healing Sessions

I have run healing sessions (or roundtables). This is normally with a small group, mostly employee resource groups on topics affecting their communities.
